AGENDA:

Practice questioning and notetaking skills during an interview

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Find a place to have a conversation with your partner (see chalkboard)

  2. Using your prepared questions as a starting point, have a focused conversation with the person about a single topic for 10 minutes.

  3. Take notes during your interview. Be sure to capture a few accurate, direct quotes and observational details.

  4. Have your person verify and sign your notes and prepare to switch partners.

  5. REPEAT.

  6. Review your notes and mark them for use in a profile.
