Photo Review -- Can't use it if it's blurry

We have a ton of blurry pictures.

You must change the camera settings as the lighting situations changes.

Check the ISO --- Use a high number when shooting inside. Use a low number when shooting outside.

Use the meter in the viewfinder

  • Turn the command dial (under your thumb) to change the shutter speed. Not too slow, though, or you'll have blur.

OR

  • Push the exposure button while you turn the command dial to change the aperture.

  • The goal is to make lines on the meter reach zero

When in doubt or as backup, shoot in AUTO mode (probably with flash)
