If you need more information to write an interesting story, conduct more interviews --- either more in-depth conversations with the people you've already talked to OR talk to new people to expand your available information.
Be prepared to explain to Mr. Gilmore why overdue pages aren't completed. He is concerned about the lack of progress on the yearbook.
