Production Day Jan. 19

Good work, those of you who were here yesterday!

DUE TODAY:

  1. Photo selections for January spread.

  2. Create a document listing the photos you want for your January spread and identify where on the page you plan to put them.

  3. Include a brief description of the contents of each photo and your reason for including it.

  4. Submit your document in Google Classroom

Reminders:

  • Check back with ADVERTISERS who were interested but didn't commit.

  • Check your PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE DAY commitment. You chose the day. Get those photos organized, named and uploaded as soon as possible.

  • Be prepared to explain to Mr. Gilmore why overdue pages aren't completed. He is concerned about the lack of progress on the yearbook.

  • Check to be sure you've submitted every assignment this week (and marked it DONE in Classroom)

  • If you complete work on a page (even if the entire page isn't quite finished) TURN IN THE FOLDER to Ms. C. Don't put it back with all the other late and working folders.

UPCOMING IMPORTANT DATES:

  • 1/24 -- January Captions written ... use the Caption Writing Worksheets and write complete A-B-C-D captions (these will require more information than a caption that states the obvious or says nothing)

  • 1/26 -- January Revisions due -- changes to any aspect of the spread (photos, article, captions, etc.)

OVERDUE WORK:

  • 1/12-- Notes for January assignment

  • 1/13 -- INCOMPLETE PAGE AND ASSIGNMENTS FROM SEMESTER

  • 1/17-- January article and headline
